Visitors can explore the Bronte Parsonage Museum, which was the family’s home and is now the famous Haworth Museum showcasing their lives and works.

You’ll be pleased to know, there is plenty of parking in Haworth available, with two main car parks in the village and also roadside bays. It is recommended to get there early before the weekend crowds arrive, though.

Learn about the Bronte Sisters

Visit the Bronte Parsonage Museum to learn about the lives and works of the famous Bronte sisters. The museum was once home to the sisters, and you can walk through the rooms were some of their most famous novels were written. You’ll also find the world’s largest collection of their personal items, from artwork to manuscripts. Just a little further along the lane is the Old School Room in Haworth, built by Patrick Bronte.

You can also take a walk up to Top Withens where old farmhouse ruins stand on the landscape that is said to have inspired the most famous novel of Emily Bronte, ‘Wuthering Heights’.

Central Park in Haworth is a leafy recreational space, filled with flower gardens, a well-maintained play area and bowling green, tennis courts and bandstand. This is the perfect place for escaping the hustle and bustle and enjoying a picnic with the family.

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a heritage railway that runs through Haworth and offers a unique way to experience the village’s scenery. The railway is operated by volunteers and features a range of historic trains, including steam engines and diesel locomotives.
