This beautiful image was taken on a grassy bank on the verges of Wastwater in Wasdale. The remote valley is surrounded by iconic peaks and has become a popular starting point for walkers tackling Scafell Pike, England’s tallest mountain. Wasdale is also home to the country’s smallest church and deepest lake.
